Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values steady on Choice and lower on Select on light demand 
and offerings. Select and Choice chuck, round, and loin cuts steady to weak. 
Choice rib cuts higher while Select steady. Beef trimmings steady on moderate 
demand and offerings.

Prices are 5 cents higher on Extra Large and Large, unchanged on Medium. Trade
Sentiment is mixed, usually steady to higher. Supplies are light to moderate.
Offerings remain light. Demand is moderate to good. Market activity is active.
