NATIONAL DAILY BOXED BEEF CUTOUT AND BOXED BEEF CUTS - Negotiated Sales -
Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values lower on light demand and light to moderate offerings. 
Select and Choice rib, round, and loin cuts steady to weak while chuck cuts 
steady. Beef trimmings were mostly firm to higher on moderate demand and light 
to moderate offerings.

Prices are unchanged on all sizes. Trade sentiment is steady. Supplies are 
sufficient for current needs.  Offerings are moderate. Retail and distributive 
demand is light to moderate. Market activity is slow to moderate.
