NATIONAL DAILY BOXED BEEF CUTOUT AND BOXED BEEF CUTS - Negotiated Sales -
Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values higher on moderate to fairly good demand and light
offerings. Select and Choice rib, chuck, and round cuts steady to firm while
loin cuts firm to higher. Beef trimmings mostly moderately lower on light to
moderate demand and moderate offerings.

Weekly Egg Sets for the week ending 02/17 - 227 million, up 2% from a year ago
Chick placement for the week ending 02/17 - 180 million, up slightly from a
year ago.

02/21 - Daily New York Eggs
Prices are 6 cents higher on Extra Large and Large, and 5 cents higher on
Medium. Trade sentiment is mostly higher. Supplies of all sizes are light to
moderate for current needs. The New York shell egg inventory is 21% higher than
last Monday. Offerings are light to moderate. Retail and distributive demand is
moderate to at times fairly good. Market activity is moderate.
