Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values lower on light to moderate demand and moderate
offerings. Select and Choice loin and chuck cuts steady to weak while round
cuts steady to firm. Choice rib cuts lower while Select steady. Beef trimmings
unevenly steady on moderate demand and heavy offerings.

Prices are steady for Medium, however 3 cents lower for larger sizes. The
undertone is steady to lower. Supplies and offerings are mostly  moderate.
Demand is moderate to at times fairly good. Market activity is moderate.
