Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values steady on moderate demand and offerings. Select and 
Choice rib, chuck, and loin cuts steady to firm while round cuts steady to 
weak. Beef trimmings steady on moderate demand and offerings.

Weekly Egg Sets for the week ending 07/18 - 216 million, up slightly from eggs 
sets a year ago. Chick placement week ended 07/18- 179 million, up 3% from a 
year ago.

07/28 - New York Daily Eggs
Prices are 2 cents higher on Medium, steady on balance of sizes. Trade 
sentiment is mixed, but usually steady to full steady. Supplies are light
to moderate for needs. The New York shell egg inventory is 12% higher than
a week ago. Offerings are light. Retail and food service demand is mostly
moderate. Market activity is moderate.
