DTN COMMENTS: The cash cattle trade is quiet this morning with just a few token
bids renewed in the South. Additionally, one regional buyer in Nebraska has
been as high as $236 on a selective basis. Asking prices remain firm at
$147-148 in the South and $238 plus in the North. It's possible that
significant trade volume may not surface until the release of the April 1 on
feed report set for 2:00 p.m. Friday (CDT). Beef cut-outs are expected to trend
higher with light to moderate box movement.

NOTE: Feedlots are encouraged to call DTN with any cattle sales, at
1-800-369-7675, 1-402-399-6402, or 1-402-462-8897. All sales will be listed
anonymously and organized by state. General trends and summaries from this
data will be posted on the Daily Sales Reported to DTN page.
